About Ceri Rowland
Ceri Rowland leads the People & Culture function at Douglas Pharmaceuticals, shaping the capability, leadership and culture that underpin the organisation's performance, growth and long-term success.
With more than 15 years of experience across financial services, aviation, retail, consulting and pharmaceuticals, Ceri has built a reputation for helping organisations navigate change, strengthen leadership and create high-performing cultures. Prior to joining Douglas, she held senior organisational development, culture and leadership roles with Kiwibank, Air New Zealand and The Warehouse Group.
As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, Ceri leads a broad portfolio spanning organisational development, leadership, talent, employee relations, remuneration, recruitment, internal communications, health, safety, health, hygiene and environment (SHHE) and people systems and insights.
Under her leadership, Douglas has earned external recognition for its workplace culture and people practices. The company has been named a finalist in Inspiring Workplaces Australasia for three consecutive years, achieving second place in 2024. Douglas has also been recognised in Best Places to Work New Zealand and received the Southern Cross Wellbeing Wayfinder Award. The Douglas People & Culture team was named New Zealand HR Team of the Year in 2023.
