About Henry Jackson
Dr. Henry Jackson serves as a key link between Research & Development, Operations, and Commercial functions, helping to ensure Douglas’s technical capabilities are aligned with client needs.
With a career spanning several decades in the global pharmaceutical industry, Henry brings extensive experience in drug development and manufacturing. Before joining Douglas in 2020, he held senior leadership and technical roles at organisations including Mylan, Medtronic, Legacy Pharmaceuticals, Valeant Pharmaceuticals, and Abbott. His expertise includes high-potency formulations and specialised dosage forms, such as softgels, with a focus on the technical and manufacturing considerations required to optimise product performance, stability, and scalability.
Henry holds a PhD in Organic Medicinal Chemistry from the University of Iowa, a Master of Science in Organic Chemistry from the University of Puerto Rico, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Ben May Research Institute. His combination of scientific expertise and industry experience supports Douglas CDMO’s development and manufacturing capabilities across a range of complex pharmaceutical products.
