About Sean Westbrook
Sean Westbrook leads Douglas Pharmaceuticals as the company expands its global presence, strengthens its contract manufacturing capabilities and builds on its position as New Zealand's largest pharmaceutical manufacturer.
With more than 20 years of executive leadership experience across pharmaceuticals, healthcare and diagnostics, Sean has held senior leadership roles spanning 54 countries across five continents. Prior to joining Douglas, he was Managing Director of AROTEC Diagnostics. He has also held executive positions with Aspen Pharmacare, Sun Pharmaceutical Industries and Tiger Brands.
Sean has advised Boston Consulting Group and Bain Capital Australia on global healthcare acquisitions and has been recognised three times with the Visionary Leadership Award from Panache SA and Infinity Group Dubai.
He holds an MBA in International Healthcare Management from the University of Cumbria and is currently undertaking a Doctorate in Business Administration at the University of Otago.
